Kim received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Biochemistry from Georgian Court University in 2006 and pursued graduate school at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey to receive her Doctorate in physical therapy in 2010.
Kim has completed clinical affiliations for acute total joint replacements, cardiovascular and pulmonary rehab at Southern Ocean County Hospital, as well as concentrating in outpatient neurological rehabilitation for CVA, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease while at HealthSouth of Tinton Falls. Kim’s other areas of interest include outpatient orthopedic care, gait/balance training and strategies, SI dysfunction, and post-op rehabilitation for total joint replacements. Her treatment approach has emphasized hands on physical therapy methods including soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, and joint mobilizations in order to reduce pain, restore muscular balance, and promote functional mobility.
