Katie graduated from Essex County College Physical Therapy Assistant Program in 2004. She completed clinical rotations in acute care, out patient orthopedics as well as the Cerebral Palsy high school in Clifton, NJ. Her clinical experience includes out patient pulmonary, orthopedics, sports related injuries, geriatrics, pediatrics as well as neurological patients including Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and CVA.
Katie’s professional interests include pre and post operative orthopedics, neurological rehab as well as sports related injuries in adults and pediatric patients, SI dysfunctions, shoulder and knee rehabilitation. She believes in using a variety of techniques which includes manual techniques, joint mobilizations, PNF, muscle energy techniques as well as Regional Interdependence (using movement patterns to identify impairments which may be unrelated to the main complaint, however they contribute to the disability).
